(SPOT.ph) Whether as a movie snack, mid-workday cheat, or post-workout treat (no judgment here), the combo of cheese pizza plus fizzy soda does wonders. One of our favorite places to get cheese pizza is S&R, which sells their giant pies both at their warehouses and at their many pizza shops around the Metro. Guess what: They are offering the pizza-soda combo at a discount: get a 9-inch Cheese Pizza (it’s good for two!) with a 22-ounce serving of Pepsi for just P168—that’s P39 less than the usual price at their warehouses, and P44 less than that of their pizza shops. The promo runs only until January 26.
S&R’s pizzas have long been heralded for their large size and affordability. Though formerly only available at the membership-only warehouses, they’ve since opened standalone pizza parlors (which are open also to non-members) offering not just their signature pizzas, but also chicken, hotdogs, churros, and other comfort eats. They occasionally bring in limited pizza flavors—some crazier than others—but we always find ourselves crawling back to the signature cheese variant.
