Welcome Back: Lechon and Sisig Pepper Rice
We've been waiting over a year for this.
(SPOT.ph) We're not complaining about our favorite Beef Pepper Rice, which has proven to be dependable for a good and filling meal, but when Pepper Lunch announced the revival of their Filipino-oriented sizzling rice meals, call us happy.
The Pinoy Fiesta line features two kinds of revered ulam: sisig and lechon. The Sisig Pepper Rice is a tempting display of chopped pork jowls (with equal proportions of meat and fat, just the way we like it), while the Lechon Pepper Rice flaunts gorgeous strips of crispy skin-lined pork belly and a brush of sarsa. Both dishes are blessed with a sprinkle of crunchy chicharon.
Pepper Lunch is coy with the details, but if we were to base things on last year's March launch, the Pinoy Fiesta line will probably be available for a limited time.
The Pinoy Fiesta Line is available at Pepper Lunch outlets only. Click here for a list of branches.
