Laduree pushes back opening date

(SPOT.ph) Back in January, we revealed that luxury French bakery Ladurée was going to open in Manila some time in the middle of year. On June 7, we broke that it was slated for a July 19 opening. Unfortunately, that date has been pushed back and nothing specific has been set.
Ladurée was founded in 1862, and in the 1930s, it pioneered the style of using two cookie shells to sandwich creamy ganache. Ladurée's recipe has not been changed since.
Manila's Ladurée, which was brought over by the Homme et Femme group, will be at the Lopez Tower, Rockwell, Makati City. We can't confirm this as a fact, but rumors have been spreading that a macaron will be priced at P160. Laduree macarons at Hong Kong cost approximately P150 each.
According to a representative from Homme et Femme, they're still arranging the arrival of Ladurée's execs.
This article has been revised to update the date.
