NOW OPEN: Fat at Bonifacio Global City, Mr. Graham's at Quezon City
Some of this month's must-tries include sin and a sandwich.
(SPOT.ph) Locavore chef Mikel Zaguirre has finally opened his no-holds-barred, fat-themed restaurant Fat at Forbes Town Center, Bonifacio Global City. The young chef highlights the most attractive points of fat, using things like butter and chicharon to flavor and not simply for effect. Emerging must-tries include foie gras-spiked short ribs and butter-poached tuna on quinoa. We heard the portions are good for sharing. That's rich!
Fat is at Forbes Town Center, Burgos Circle, Bonifacio Global City.

Is there a Mr. Graham, Mrs. Graham? Apparently so. Mr. Graham's, on the corner of Tomas Morato Avenue, opened last week. It's a sandwich shop that peddles crowd-pleasers like a four-cheese sandwich, a lechon-filled Cebuano (we love this play on a Cubano), and a classic Clubhouse. We can't wait to try their—wait for it—Apple Pie Soda! The shop is owned by married couple Chris and Anna Graham who also own the nearby macaron-and-coffee emporium Mrs. Graham's. His and her restaurants!
Mr. Graham is at 51B Scout Rallos Street (just beside Mrs. Graham's in 51C), Quezon City.
