This newly opened dessert shop sells chicharon and beer ice cream
Carousel Creamery carries 101 ice cream flavors.
Missouri Street is fast turning into a new dining central.
(SPOT.ph) Last weekend, local ice cream establishment Carousel Creamery quietly opened its doors to serve the sugar-craving masses. They boast a whopping 101 ice cream flavors that would give anyone major option paralysis. Classic flavors like Red Velvet, Blue Cheese, Maple and Bacon, and even Pumpkin Spice are available, but get this—they have Pinoy Beer and Chicharon ice cream.
Think of your usual inuman pair, but in ice cream form and, of course, they go well together. The sweetened beer complements the chewy chicharon bits creating that sweet-salty combo that hits the spot.
Carousel’s ice cream is available in Single Scoop (P85), Double Scoop (P145), Triple Scoop (P200), or in the form of a generous five-flavor Sampler Plate (P395). You can even bring home a takeaway pint (P320) and keep it in the freezer as a midnight snack. Perfect for when you’re experiencing an Adele-listening, food-bingeing, hugot kind of day.

They’ve also got some savory fare to balance out the sweetness such as a Gourmet All-Beef Hotdog (P150). The menu offers some caffeinated choices for the resident java junkie diner with prices ranging from P70 to P150.
Currently, Carousel has 23 flavors available to satisfy your sweet tooth. They’ll be rolling out the remaining 78 flavors within the week so have your dessert spoon at the ready.
Carousel Creamery is at 8 Missouri Street, North East Greenhills, San Juan City; open from Sunday to Thursday (10 a.m. to 11 p.m.) and Friday to Saturday (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.).
