HEAT is taking their lobster selection up a few notches.
(SPOT.ph) One could argue that nearly every hotel buffet in Metro Manila features lobster on the menu. Most of them, however, get away with the bare minimum. Not at HEAT, though.
EDSA Shangri-La's signature buffet is throwing Mad for Lobster Fridays starting tomorrow: There will be scene-stealing mounds of lobsters in varieties like Boston, Slipper, Rock, Japanese, Pacific, Tiger, and Bamboo, as well as lobster tails. You can have it plain steamed or cooked, buttered with garlic and lemon, baked with cheese, stir-fried Chinese-style, or fresh off the grill.
If you're too busy surveying the buffet to have your lobsters customized, HEAT has ready-to-eat crustaceans available for your enjoyment. Executive chefs Tobias Unger, Yusuke Hino, Marco Ghezzi, and Tony Sum have created lobster-centric dishes like a Lobsterlicious Angry Roll, Spicy Lobster Maki, Crazy Lobster Tempura Maki, Lobster Thermidor, Lobster Risotto, Lobster Paella, Singaporean Chili Lobster, and Lobster Tandoori.
Mad for Lobster, which currently has no end date, is available at dinner service—again, only on Fridays—for P2,415+.
