Pay what you want for burgers at POUND

This burger joint opens to the public today.

( How much are you willing to pay for burgers? POUND by Todd English Food Hall opens to the public today, February 5, and for the occasion, they're allowing customers to "pay what they want" for burgers until February 10.

You read right. You, the customer, can decide how much your burger is worth. As exclusively reported by, POUND is a restaurant based on the popular burger section of Todd English Food Hall. All the burgers on the menu, except for the Pound Burger (P999), which has foie gras and foie gras cream, are available for the promotion.

There's the Amsterdam Burger (P280), which is a beef patty in a brioche bun filled with fried onions, pastrami, Gruyere, sauerkraut, mustard relish, T.E. sauce. Or you could go for the Bacon and Egg Sliders (P200/two), which are packed with house-cured bacon, apple aioli, and quail egg.

The T.E. Burger (P195) and T.E. Crispy Chicken Burger (P225) are also available as sliders—T.E. Sliders (P155/two) and T.E. Crispy Chicken Sliders (P195/two). The latter is a must-try: chicken thigh fillets are brined for 24 hours and glazed with a kimchi sauce that paints a delightful coat of heat.

The promo also allows you to embellish your burgers with things like fried egg, crispy bacon, crispy chicken, Parmesan crisp, Gorgonzola, roasted bone marrow, and more. Add-ons range from P25 to P250.

Side dishes like the Poutine and Fries, however, are excluded. For those, you pay what's on the menu, and we suggest you save some of your budget for the Fried Pickles (P90).
