Here are more meat-free eats to enjoy during Lent
More restaurants are launching their Lenten specials just in time for Holy Week.
(SPOT.ph) Tired of all those fish dishes you've been having? Don't worry. We can see the finish line. There's only a few weeks left to Lent, but there are so many more meat-free dishes to indulge in. Yup, you read right. You can indulge and enjoy great flavors even without meat.
It's a seafood party at Pepper Lunch. Not only do they have great options for those abstaining from meat this Lent, they're offering discounts to make it easier too. Pepper Lunch is offering a set meal of Salmon Pepper Lunch, Kani Salad, and Miso Soup for P349 (that's P70 in discounts).

You could go straightforward vegetarian with their Laing (P120), which is a creamy concoction of taro leaves and coconut milk, but if you're craving chicharon or chicken skin, indulge a bit with the Dulcelin Chipirones (P195). They're addictive crispy baby squid with fried eggs, salted eggs, and cilantro.

Costa Coffee has two Lenten treats this year. They have a Tuna Mediterranean Salad, made up of tuna flakes, romaine lettuce, beans, baby potatoes, onions, capers, and tomatoes, then tossed with basil, calamansi juice, olive oil, honey, and pine nuts. Then, there's the Salmon Cream Cheese Roll Sandwich—a stack of roasted Norwegian salmon lavished with a spread of chopped dill, spring onions, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and hard boiled eggs.
