Main Street is finally opening in Kapitolyo
They're offering deals on poutine, of course.
(SPOT.ph) We first reported that cult favorite Main Street would open a branch in Pasig back in October 2015. Back then, the Canadian food hub, who taught the Philippines about the comforts of poutine, was set to open in January 2016. It's May and they're finally opening tomorrow, May 13, at 5 p.m.
Main Street Kapitolyo is located at 10 East Capitol Drive. It's right across Mama Rosa and Milky and Sunny. The good news is that Main Street will have its own parking space that can accommodate around 10 cars. The bad news is that the new menu, made specifically for the new location, won't be available yet.
Fortunately, we're not ones to rest on the negative—because all we need is Main Street's poutine (thick-cut fries doused in sweet, sticky gravy and embellished with cheese curds or other toppings) to be happy. For the opening, Main Street will be treating the first 20 tables daily from May 13 to 15 with buy-one-take-one poutine. Chef Adam Tan has five kinds: Original, Chicken (SPOT.ph recommended!), Smoked Pulled Pork, Bacon Cheeseburger, and Bacon. Each fetches around P155 to P240.
Friday the 13th can't be too bad.
