Ippudo opens in Uptown Bonifacio this month
This week, in fact.
(SPOT.ph) We love how Ippudo is going for a slow and steady approach when it comes to opening shops. The Japanese ramen giant launched its first Philippine location at SM Mega Fashion Hall in September 2014. A second branch followed nearly a year later—in August 2015 at Robinsons Place Manila.
Now on its third year in the country, Ippudo is set to open their third branch in fast-emerging Uptown Bonifacio. The date? Friday, May 20.
Ippudo, which ranked No. 1 on SPOT.ph's Top 10 Ramen Places in Manila (2016 Edition), is famous for their three signature ramen varieties: the most basic Shiromaru Motoaji, the slightly peppery Akamaru Shinaji, and the fiery Karaka-Men. They also have a stellar side dish line-up that includes pork buns (mantou pockets stuffed with deliciously fatty pork belly) and crispy chicken karaage.
Ippudo is also planning branches at Eastwood City, Quezon City; and SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Read more about Ippudo.
Erratum: This article originally stated that Ippudo would open at Bonifacio Stopover in Bonifacio Global City. This has been corrected.
