Get to try Starbucks' Pinoy-themed coffee
Let's drink to independence!
(SPOT.ph) Starbucks' Kape Vinta Blend is back in the spotlight, and just in time to celebrate the Philippine Independence Day on June 12.
The Kape Vinta Blend, which was first developed and introduced in 1997 when Starbucks first launched in the country, is once again invading Starbucks' shelves. It uses a mix of beans from the Philippines and other areas in the Asia Pacific. The packaging still features the work of Pinoy artist Mauro "Malang" Santos—a colorful vinta with bright sails.
The Kape Vinta is available in 250-gram whole bean bags for P375 (those who purchase it from June 7 to 30 will receive a complimentary tote bag). On June 10, Friday, however, Kape Vinta beans will be featured as Starbucks' Coffee of the Day, so you can enjoy them the way it's meant to be enjoyed!
