This stall is a cheese lover's dream

Get ready for more cheesy weekends at Cheese Scraper at Mercato Centrale.

(SPOT.ph) So it seems that scraping cheese is the trend right now, and there are dozens of videos going viral on Facebook to prove that. SPOT.ph recently gave you a peek into Raclette Manila, and we found another place to look forward to on the weekends.

Cheese Scraper promises a delectable cheesy overload with their stunning display of melted raclette scraped on a range of dishes. Lo and behold:

 Bacon Raclette Traditional

There's nothing bacon can't make better, especially with the Bacon Raclette Traditional (P320/full scrape, P180/half scrape) which is made up of raclette cheese melted and scraped on a bed of boiled potatoes, mixed greens, baguette, tomatoes cornichons, and pickled pearl onions. The Pepperoni Raclette Traditional (P320/full scrape, P180/half scrape) is made up of the same ingredients without the bacon, adding in pepperoni and arugula on the side.

Other choices include the Raclette Traditional (P299/full scrape, P160/half scrape), where you need only to add P15 for mojos instead of boiled potatoes, the Antipasto Raclette Traditional (P330/full scrape, P190/half scrape) where the melted raclette is poured over cold cuts, and the Crispy Mushroom Raclette Traditional (P310/full scrape, P170/half scrape), a meatless option. All the fresh vegatables and crispy mushrooms are sourced from the owners' farm in San Pablo, Laguna.

Cheese Scraper also lets guests make their own fromage (P150), with options like Swiss Cheese, Mozzarella, Gouda, Havarti, Blue Cheese, Pepper Jack, Colby Jack, and more that goes through the raclette grill. It's served with boiled potatoes, mixed greens, and a sliced baguette.

Spicy Aglio Olio with Mushroom Bits or 7 Cheese

Not much for veggies? Give the Spicy Aglio Olio with Mushroom Bits or 7 Cheese (P320/full scrape, P250/half scrape) a try.

Catch Cheese Scraper from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. at Mercato Centrale every Friday and Saturday! After all, is there any better way to start the weekend?
