This Singaporean favorite is bringing their signature roast meat to Manila
Char is opening soon at Uptown Parade!
(SPOT.ph) Frequent travellers to Singapore have surely been to Char, the Cantonese roast meat restaurant that first opened on Guillemard Road, before it moved to Jasan Besar just recently. The next stop for this Singaporean favorite is Metro Manila, as brothers Anthony and Alvin Ung bring their signature roast meats to Uptown Parade on Thursday, December 8.
Crispy Roast Pork Belly
Now there's no need to fly to Singapore to experience their mouthwatering Char Siew, perfectly glazed with their signature sweet-salty sauce and glistening with fat. Another must-try is their Crispy Roast Pork Belly, perfectly fried until the crackling skin is just right. Or why not treat yourself to the Roast Duck, slowly roasted until it's juicy and flavorful. The menu here will also feature an extensive list of other Chinese dishes like Garlic and Salt Tiger Prawns and Spicy Chicken Szechuan Style. Judging from the long queues in Char Singapore, we're prepared to endure the same here in Manila, for their perfectly succulent roast meat.
Char will open on December 8 at 2/F Uptown Parade, Uptown Bonifacio.
