(SPOT.ph) Throwing a Halloween bash? If you’re still looking for spooky sweets that will level-up your party, Marriott Café’s Halloween-themed desserts, available until October 31, could be right up your alley.
Creepy Salted Cake
Chocolate In The Dark
Count Dracula Fingers
Sure to turn heads are their six-inch cakes, like the fall-themed Halloween Entremet (P800), made with chocolate streusel, hazelnut, and light caramel cream, and the graveyard-inspired Creepy Salted Cake (P800), made with salted caramel. They also have mini cakes, like the too-cute-to-be-scary Green Monster (P250), made with pistachio sponge cake, and the Chocolate In The Dark (P250), a moist chocolate sponge cake with dark chocolate mousse and tiny ghosts made out of white chocolate. But if you really want to give your friends a fright, hoard the Count Dracula Fingers (P65/two pieces), cookies that are almost too spooky to eat.
If you’re too lazy to throw a party at home, you can celebrate instead at Marriot Manila’s special Halloween brunch on October 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Halloween dinner on October 29 and 31, from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Brunch goes for P2,600 per person while dinner is at P2,100 per person.
Marriott Manila is at 2 Resorts Drive, Pasay City. For reservations, call 988-9999.
