This Cult-Favorite Brick-Oven Pizza From Siargao Is Coming to Manila
Conde Nast once described them as "the best pizza and fresh-made pasta in the country."
(SPOT.ph) While a trip to Siargao may not yet be within reach, you can at least get a slice or two of arguably the best brick oven-pizza from the island here in Manila very soon. Kermit is bringing their pizza and pasta, once declared by Conde Nast as “the best pizza and fresh-made pasta in the country,” to Poblacion in Makati, with the opening tentatively set for March.
Kermit Manila will be serving the same menu as they have in Siargao, from classic Italian pasta like spaghetti al pomodoro, penne, and gnocchi, to their famous brick oven-baked pizza with dough and toppings you can customize yourself. Toppings can range from anchovies, tuna, and ham, to gorgonzola, brie, artichokes, and salami. You know where to fill up now while you dream of riding the waves—though the beach body might have to wait.
Kermit Manila is opening soon at Molina Street, Poblacion, Makati City.
*Update: The first edition of this article stated that Kermit Manila will be serving starters. This has since been corrected.
