This McDonald's Branch Brings Together Menu Items From All Over the World
Who's up for Bacon and Cheese Fries?
(SPOT.ph) While a trip to McDonald's isn't exactly top-of-mind when planning a trip overseas, some jetsetters drop by branches of the chain to see what's in store, or look for items that aren't available in their local McDo. If you're one of them, it looks like you won't need to jump from one country to another anymore to search for that country-exclusive McFlurry flavor. McDonald's just opened their new headquarters in Chicago with a menu that features food from branches all over the globe!
From left to right: Mozza Salad, McSpicy, and Cheese and Bacon Loaded Fries
The new Chicago Mcdonald's gathers several of McDonald's special global items, with the menu changing every few months. If you're in the area, currently on offer are Canada's Mighty Angus Burger, with a one-third pound Angus beef patty and bacon, Australia's Cheese and Bacon Loaded Fries, Manhattan Salad and Mozza Salad from France, and even Hong Kong's McSpicy (which we also had locally). There'll also be a dessert counter featuring sundaes and McFlurry flavors from all over the world and a McCafé that'll be offering the Australian menu.
This new McDonald's HQ is also special for offering several cool new features that McDonald's hopes to roll out in all of their U.S. locations by 2020. These include table service, mobile ordering and payment, and touchscreen kiosks for purchasing. It's awesome enough to merit a visit on your next trip to Chicago. Who knows, maybe they'll offer Chicken McDo meals next?
McDonald's new HQ is at 110 N. Carpenter Street, Chicago, Illinois, United States.
