A Museum of Pizza Is Opening in October to Invade Your Instagram Feed
You'll want to add this to your NY itinerary.
(SPOT.ph) In 2016, the Museum of Ice Cream opened in Manhattan, New York, ushering a new kind of museum experience where, instead of marbled statues and framed paintings, you'll have a swimmable pool of sprinkles and edible balloons.
The age of the new immersive-museum experience isn't over yet, and what better food is there to dedicate an entire exhibit to but pizza? The Museum of Pizza is opening in New York City this October, and on its official website, it promises "a space to bask in multi-sensory, psychedelic pizza joy."
The exhibit includes The Museum of Pizza artists gallery, a pizza cave, a pizza fun house, a pizza beach, an interactive history of pizza, a "Pizza Zen" sense & sound experience, a MoPi arcade, an official MoPi Pizza Films screening room and media lab, and more. Their website doesn't expound on what these exactly mean, but trust that they'll be super photogenic. If you're more interested in eating the popular cheesy snack, the museum also promises each visitor a slice of pizza!
The Museum of Pizza will open only from October 13 to 28 and tickets are running out fast. If you happen to be in New York on those dates, you can try your luck and score tickets online. In the meantime, you can also visit this interactive museum dedicated to desserts in Manila.
The Museum of Pizza will open at a currently undisclosed location in New York City, New York, United States.
