Foodpanda Will Now Deliver Your Food Without Plastic Utensils
Hooray for Mother Earth!
(SPOT.ph) Switching to a zero-waste lifestyle seems like a must these days, and we say it's about damn time. If you're one of those commited to making this lifestyle change—and you should be—Foodpanda is here to help. The delivery service has partnered up with 50 restaurants and chains for their new Opt-In/Opt-Out Cutlery option.
You don't need plastic utensils to have these pork buns from Tim Ho Wan...
...or this katsu set from Yabu.
With this new option, you can order from partner restaurants like Yabu, Tim Ho Wan, RACKS, The Halal Guys, Jollibee, Bon Chon, and many more and have the choice to not get disposable cutlery delivered with your food. This is great especially if you're at home or at the office where silverware is readily available, though this is also the best time to finally invest in a chic and handy utensil set you can carry with you wherever.
Need a handy utensil set? The Burrito (P550) from SIP.ph should do the trick.
Aside from the Opt-In/Opt-Out Cutlery option, Foodpanda also plans to make a full switch from plastic to paper bags, and increase the number of cyclists in their delivery fleet. We're sure Mother Earth appreciates the effort.
