This Ice Cream Shop Puts a Twist on Ice Cream Sandwiches
Dough Creamery lets you choose from a variety of dough shapes to go with your icy treat!
If one of your favorite sweet treats growing up was dirty ice cream stuffed into a warm hamburger bun, then get ready to feel nostalgic for those lazy summer days because Dough Creamery's ice cream sandwiches (P79) will bring back those delicious memories.
Dough Creamery's ice cream sandwiches are a bit fancier than what your sorbetero might serve up, though. They're made with premium milk soft-serve ice cream and a sauce of your choice (additional P20)—they've got classic flavors like chocolate, blueberry, cherry, cheddar, peanut butter, and caramel. If you want something even more special, they've also got premium sauces (additional P40) including peanut butter and blueberry jelly, peanut butter and cherry jelly, caramel apple, and choco banana. The ice cream and sauce are lovingly swirled and slathered into one of their signature baked doughs. You can choose from a variety of dough shapes including the Spindle, the Ice Dog, and the Waffle Pop.
Of the three, the Spindle is the closest to an actual ice cream cone, but instead of the usual wafer, it's made with a fast-fried, golden-brown dough reminiscent of a doughnut. Its swirly apprearance makes this option totally IG-worthy—if you can resist eating right away, that is.
The Ice Dog, as its name suggests, is reminiscent of a hotdog bun—if you're a dirty ice cream sandwich loyalist, you'll love this one. The buns are also fast-fried for a crunchy, golden-brown exterior, while the insides of the bun remain soft. You can opt to add ube sauce, which lends a bit of sweetness and a captivating pop of color!
If you love waffles, go for Dough Creamery's Waffle Pop. It's basically a classic waffle (but fun-sized!) on a popsicle stick with a dollop of soft-serve on the side. It has the same light, crispy-on-the-outside yet fluffy-on-the-inside texture that waffle lovers obsess over.
If you want an equally refreshing drink to go with your ice cream sandwich, you can pair it with Dough Creamery's Milk Tea Floatea (P79) or cream sodas (P79) that come in matcha, black currant, wildberry, and passionfruit flavors.
