If you have ever rummaged through the ice-cream freezer of a Korean supermarket, it's normal to be drawn to the pretty packaging, but at the same time, feel hesitant, especially when you don't know what you're getting exactly because of the Korean characters.

One of the most common ice-cream bars you can find in Korean groceries, supermarkets, and even Korean barbecue joints is Melona. This sweet and fruity-flavored frozen bar became popular because of its pastel-green color and milky, melon taste.
