This Taiwanese Milk-Tea Shop Stir-Fries Their Pearls in Sugar

Their boba is incredible.

(SPOT.ph) Whether you're new to the milk-tea craze (to which we say, about time!) or are looking for something new to go gaga over, Xing Fu Tang is a must-visit. The milk-tea shop from Taiwan first opened in January 2018, and quickly expanded all over the island-country and to other parts of the world—including the Philippines.

Though there are, admittedly, many who also have their version of the currently-trendy brown sugar drinks, Xing Fu Tang stands out because of their stir-fried pearls, which results in a velvety mouthfeel without becoming too mushy. Get the brown-sugar boba in the  Brown Sugar Boba Milk (P120/cold, P135/hot), which doesn't have any tea—instead you get a decadent blend of fresh milk and the pearls, plus a generous topping of cream and toasted brown sugar.

Xing Fu Tang is at 5/F The Podium, 12 ADB Avenue, Ortigas, Mandaluyong City; and G/F Promenade Mall, Greenhills, San Juan City.
