Here's Where You Can Get the Limited-Edition KitKat Gold
It's now available in the Philippines.
KitKat has been around since 1935, when British company Rowntree's first created the loveable bar of chocolate-covered wafer goodness. It was in 1988 when Nestlé began to distribute it globally, and the rest of the world got a taste of the sweet treat. It has come a long way since; and in Japan where there are two Nestlé-owned factories, there are over 200 KitKat flavors including Sake, Cherry Blossom, Red Bean, and Tokyo Banana. Here in the Philippines, we're mostly limited to staple flavors such as the White Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, and Matcha—but not for long.
If you are someone who loves a classic chocolate-and-caramel combo, then you should give the limited-edition KitKat Gold (P50) a try! These crisp wafer fingers are coated in a white caramelized chocolate. The taste of the Gold flavor is similar to KitKat's Chunky White, but with a hint of caramel.
KitKat Gold is available in selected 7-Eleven branches.
