Specialty Coffee From Benguet Takes the Spotlight in London

It comes from a mining town that's turning into a coffee-mining community.

(SPOT.ph) We’ve slowly but surely been rising through the ranks—Philippine coffee, for one, is starting to make a name for itself globally. Coffee solutions company Henry & Sons has partnered up with our Tourism Promotions Board to bring Itogon coffee—a premium specialty coffee blend from Benguet—into the spotlight. It makes its debut at the World Trade Market in London from November 4 to 6.

You can order from their website.

Itogon Coffee is named for the mining town in Benguet, which is on its way to becoming a sustainable coffee-producing community. Through the Foundation for Sustainable Coffee Excellence, Henry & Sons' advocacy arm, Philippine beans, roasts, and blends become life and livelihood for places like Itogon, while keeping tabs on sustainability.
