Book your seats while you can!
(SPOT.ph) It takes skill to be able to elevate a cuisine to new heights without losing touch with its roots. A number of restaurants have managed to succeed, however, and two in particular are joining forces for one night: as part of their Salu-Salo series, local favorite Toyo Eatery is collaborating with Tokyo restaurant DEN for a special dinner on December 7.

Headed by Chef Zaiyu Hasegawa, two Michelin-starred (and third on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list) DEN is lauded for its quirky takes on traditional Japanese cuisine. Toyo Eatery, on the other hand, presents modern interpretations of Filipino food (they're ranked 43rd on the Asia’s 50 Best list!), with Chef Jordy Navarra at the helm. Seats are limited and start at P6,000 per person; with two acclaimed chefs joining forces, this is something you really wouldn’t want to miss.
