Heads Up, Makati: This Deli Is Now Delivering Bread to Your Doorstep
From baguettes to dinner rolls!
(SPOT.ph) Don’t you love the smell of freshly baked bread? (Or the smell of bread in general, we’re not that choosy.) There’s something inherently homey and comforting about it, and we could all use more of that kind of vibe these days. The team at Chuck’s Deli—now Chuck’s Deli + Bakery—understand completely, which is why they’ve reopened their kitchens to bring Makati the in-house bread that their killer sandwiches are made with.
Their new website allows you to sign up and choose from all sorts of loaves—take note that they offer frozen bread that you can reheat at home. You can choose from Long Baguettes (P95), Brioche (P395), their kilo-heavy Country Bread (P350), to an assortment of dinner rolls are just some of things you can add to your cart. They charge a flat delivery rate of P150 for next-day delivery and currently only deliver in and around the Makati area, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed that they expand their coverage soon.
Chuck’s Deli reopened in 2018 on J. Molina Street in Poblacion, having moved from their original location in Bonifacio Global City after a four-year hiatus. They focus on unique takes on classic flavors in their sandwiches—best exemplified in the Faking Duck (P375), which sports the flavors of Peking duck, but on slices of tender pork.
