You Can Fund a Hot Meal for a Frontliner for Just P90
All you have to do is pledge online via one of the Max's Group restaurants.
(SPOT.ph) If we think ourselves besieged by an invisible enemy, it really would be hard to hold on to hope. But this is the reality: Humanity is one big team, and we can work together to stop the pandemic. We know you’re doing your part by keeping clean and staying home—but if you feel like you can do a bit more, the group behind Max’s Restaurant, Teriyaki Boy, Pancake House, and many other beloved brands has made a way. Their new project is a donation platform called Pledge a Plate, where for only P90, you can fund a meal for a COVID-19 frontliner.
All of their store operations have paused—including Yellow Cab, Jamba Juice, and Krispy Kreme—but their kitchens have been busy preparing meals and their delivery website has been fully converted into a portal for donations. You can also find a list of partner hospitals, as well as the delivery details on the pledged meals.
You can donate as many meals as you want, and rest easy knowing you helped out in a not-so-small way. As we stay home for our frontliners, we can also make sure they’re getting the hot meals they need to keep going. Donations are open until April 12.
this strange new world.
