Yes, You Can Have JiPan's Monroe Bread Delivered

Among other loaves and pastries!

(SPOT.ph) There's no use hiding it—bread is our friend. Well, carbs in general are a great comfort, but there's a time for a rice bowl, and there's a time for a good sandwich. When you're stuck at home, it's likely that you would stock up on bread. There are many great purveyors of good loaves, among them JiPan—known for their fluffy, flaky Monroe Bread (P324)—who now deliver to your door, and they are open from Monday to Friday, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If you give them a few days' lead time, you can text them at either 0945-997-1246 or 0917-542-0034 with your name, contact number, delivery address, order, and your preferred mode of payment (BPI, BDO, or cash on delivery in this case). They use their own delivery service to bring orders to Mandaluyong, San Juan, Makati, Pasig, and parts of Taguig, Quezon City, and Manila—but if you're not in these areas, you can arrange for a courier of your choice to pick up your order for you.

Their House Bread (P185/whole, P95/half) is another popular choice among regulars, along with their Thick Toast (P67) and French Bread (P84).

JiPan has been serving a unique marriage of French baking standards with the Japanese preference for softer textures and paler hues since 1922. And in case you're curious, Monroe Bread takes inspiration from Marilyn Monroe’s signature white skirt—light and airy.
