(SPOT.ph) Metro Manila may have switched to general community quarantine, but these days, erring on the side of caution is always better. Limiting contact with the outside world helps, and there are plenty of ways to do that even when you can’t stay indoors, from face masks to other kinds of protective equipment. If there’s one thing you’re probably missing the most about life pre-pandemic, though, we’d bet it’s getting to eat out with friends. While it’s likely to take a little longer before we can all do that again, you can fill the void by ordering your favorites from your usual haunts—and if they’re at Uptown Mall, you’re in luck because you can now order from a number of their restaurants via Viber and pick up your food without having to get out of your car with their Faves on the Go service.

Launched by Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, Faves on the Go allows shoppers or diners to choose necessities or restaurant favorites through the malls’ Viber community, order, arrange payment, and then pick up their packages at designated points. Live or work near Uptown Bonifacio, for example? You can choose to order from the mall’s restaurants, including Denny’s, Fely J’s, Scout’s Honor, and Ippudo. Ordering will be done directly with the restaurant, and you can set your own pick-up time.Â
The Faves to Go service is available at other Megaworld malls in Metro Manila, namely Eastwood Mall, McKinley Hill's Venice Grand Canal, Lucky Chinatown, Newport, Southwoods, San Lorenzo Place, and Festive Walk.
