The Salcedo Market Halts Operations for Now
But you can still support your favorite vendors.
(SPOT.ph) Weekend market-goers rejoiced when the Salcedo Market announced that they were reopening in June, with added safety protocols in place. But if you plan on dropping by anytime soon, you'll have to put that on hold for now. In a Facebook post, the weekend market has announced that it is pausing the market's run starting tomorrow, August 1.
"Due to the sudden rise in reported and active COVID cases during the month of July, the Salcedo Community Market Committee has decided to halt operations effective Aug 1, 2020 until further notice," the post reads.
"The safety and health of all our customers, vendors, suppliers and employees are of the utmost importance to us and we deem this as the best course of action given the situation. Rest assured that we are closely monitoring developments and we will see how we can further improve the safety measures being practiced in the Salcedo Market. Thank you for your kind cooperation and understanding."
If you're looking to support your favorite Salcedo Market purveyors, you can still do so by joining the Salcedo Marketplace private Facebook group. Within the group, you'll find a directory of all the market vendors so you can place your orders directly, as well as get updates on their latest offerings.
