The Peninsula Manila is celebrating their 44th anniversary this year by offering some of their restaurants' signature dishes at prices similar to when opened their doors 44 years ago—for instance, you can get Old Manila's Beef Wellington or Angus Beef Rib Eye Steak for just P1,976 each. Fancy an afternoon-tea experience at home? Manila Pen also has the Peninsula Cakeaway Afternoon Tea Set (P2,950/good for three) which includes raisin scones, cakes, dainty finger sandwiches, macarons, and more—note that tea is not included. The Manila Hotel
Missing Café Ilang Ilang, a.k.a. The Manila Hotel's in-house buffet restaurant? The good news is, you can order their specialties for pickup or delivery. You can splurge on sous-vide steaks like the Prime US Beef Striploin (P2,100) or roasts like the Honey-Glazed Bone-In Ham (P900/kilo, minimum of two kilos). You can also go for one of their Home Buffet sets: The Chinese Set A (P2,500) has dishes like the Sweet & Sour Pork, Braised Beef Brisket, and Five Spices Braised E-fu Noodles in Oyster. Check out Hung's Kitchen's Cantonese specialties like Barbecued Pork (P820). And if you're looking for meat, look no further than CRU Steakhouse, which offers heavyweight steaks like the US Certified Angus Beef Prime Rib Steak (P6,300/900 grams).
