Here's How Chandon Garden Spritz Is Ending The Summer at 1120 House:
Whether it be a brunch or sundown affair, or whether you're drinking to celebrate or wallow in despair, nothing beats a glass of sparkling wine paired with scrumptious eats. Exactly what Chandon and 1120 House have done for this end-of-summer happening. On April 21st, Chandon officially launched Garden Spritz (P2,200/bottle, P385/glass), a refreshing spritz with hints of grape and orange. The drink is exclusively available in 1120 House until June 30, and for the best experience, we suggest ordering these dishes that pair beautifully with the drink.
Patrons opting for a light bite can order the Citrus Mesclun Salad (P625), which consists of mesclun, grilled fresh water shrimp, citrus dressing, orange supreme, and arugula.Â
Those wanting a meatier option can select the Steak Poivre, a succulent and tender US Angus beef tenderloin layered with truffle mash and charred vegetables. While most opt for red wine with their steak, a refreshing approach would be to pair your choice of beef with a light and fragrant sparkling wine, especially if it's during the day. Do take note, however, that the Steak Poivre is only offered on occasion so be sure to ask the staff if they have it!
And if it's something sweet you're looking for, you can opt to pair the light and fluffy Lait Cereal Cake (P235)Â with a glass (or two!) of Garden Spritz instead of the usual coffee or tea in the afternoon.
