Eng Bee Tin's New Limited-Edition Hopia Is Only Etneb Pesos

(SPOT.ph) Eng Bee Tin is celebrating its second run of National Hopia Day this year with a month-long celebration. One of its highlights? The launch of Hopia Etneb. No, that's not a typo, nor is it gibberish—it's "bente" spelled backwards, the same way we refer to Cavite as "etivac."
In this case, the bente or 20, stands for its price. Believe it or not, Eng Bee Tin is selling this special hopia flavor for only 20 bucks. In this economy? We're not just grabbing one. We'll have etneb, please.

So, what exactly is in this hopia? This limited-edition flavor uses monggo with kapeng barako, the coffee varietal most popularly grown in Batangas and Cavite, known for its strong, bold flavor. This coffee hopia was conceptualized by Isko Moreno Domagoso (or Yorme as we all know him), the current mayor of Manila City. Oh, just in case you didn't know or you forgot: Yorme opened a coffee shop in Manila called KapeTolyo.
Hopia Etneb is priced at P20 for a pack of two pieces—basically, P10 per piece—and is only available until the end of July in all Eng Bee Tin branches. There is a limit of five packs per customer, per day, so it's best to bring a sturdy bag for your hopia stash. You might as well bring a friend so you can buy more.

The National Hopia Day celebration also includes promos not to miss. Eng Bee Tin has a National Hopia Day Bundle, priced at P500 (save P105!), which includes two packs of the most out-of-the-box Hopia Sisig, two packs of the sweet-savory Hopia Durian, and a (one) pack of the sweet and tart Philippine Mango Cake. This is available for the entire month of July in all Eng Bee Tin stores.
Aside from the hopia bundle, you can also get 10% off on all Eng Bee Tin products on all Mondays of July. So you can stock up on all the other products: tikoy, baked goodies, and baos. As of writing, you only have the last Monday, July 28, to get your fix.
