(SPOT.ph) Are you a stressed-out zillenial who's perpetually on coffee runs, a hardcore homebrewer, or just one to enjoy a good cup of joe in whatever way? You'll want to free up your schedule for this year's run of KapeCon, happening this weekend. Organized by Coffee Home Brewers, the two-day community-led event is slated to make a comeback on October 11 and 12 (Saturday and Sunday) in Paseo de Roxas Avenue, Makati City. And yup, entrance is free.

Your ultimate guide to KapeCon 2025

Just a little background: Coffee Home Brewers (CHB), KapeCon's organizer, started out as a Facebook group, but has grown to over 65,000 coffee enthusiasts, including beginners and professionals. CHB's KapeCon is a gathering of all coffee lovers under one roof—convenient for those looking for their next stash of coffee beans, upgrading their coffee bar setup at home, for those looking for the best cup of joe, and for those who just want to geek out.

The KapeCon 2025 Schedule:

Just some of the highlights of the two-day event are the pottery session led by Masa Ceramics, and the latte art competition (both are happening on October 11). There will also be a coffee painting workshop and very chaotic (good chaotic) brewing competition, the Kape't Kamay Brewdown. This is where competitors compete in pairs: one person acts as the left hand, the other as the right, and both of the participants' vacant hands will be holding each other.

List of merchants during KapeCon 2025

In between the pocket events, you can always check out the partnered merchants. There's a great selection of coffee, food, equipment (for the homebrewers, both newbies and pros), and select artisans, like a photobooth for the mems and ceramics to add to your growing collection of cups at home
