Here's What You Can Buy With the New Generation Coins

Netizens have yet to warm up to them.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas recently launched their new designs for Philippine coins, and, as you probably know, people have yet to warm up to them. For starters, it's hard to try to differentiate these coins at first glance. Why do they all have to be of the same size and color?

We'll all eventually get used to them, but for now, here's a list of things you can spend on without having to second guess how much you need to pay:

Squid ball (P3.00 per piece)
It’s always nice to have the option to indulge in some finger food, especially when it's merienda time and your focus levels are running low.

Jeepney fare (P8.00 minimum)
Barya lang po sa umaga! Nothing beats exploring the ins and outs of Metro Manila via public transportation, and jeepneys are right up there as one of our favorites.

The new Mountain Dew Idol (P8.00 SRP)
At just P8.00 SRP, the new Mountain Dew Idol makes refreshment all the more sulit. Packaged in an 8oz glass bottle, everyone’s favorite citrus soft drink is a great way to feel the thrill.

And with the arrival of the brand's newest variant, Mountain Dew also welcomes perennial idol James Reid into the fold. Watch the new Mountain New Idol TVC here:
