(SPOT.ph) Apparently, one matcha weekend wasn’t enough—so Souk is doubling down this April with not one, but two extended, matcha-filled weekends.
After the success of its first run, Souk’s Matcha Fest returns in back-to-back four-day festivals. The first will be at Trinoma Activity Center from April 16 to 19. This will be followed by a second run at Eastwood Central Plaza from April 23 to 26. And yes, entrance is still free for both events.
Guide to Souk's Matcha Festival this April

Souk Matcha Fest: Trinoma Activity Center, April 16 to 19
The festival's Trinoma leg alone gathers over 10 merchants, from those whisking matcha into lattes to others offering desserts and pastries to pair with your drink. Here are the merchants at Souk Matcha Fest at Trinoma:
Acay
Le Bon Matcha
Match Better Cafe
Matcha House
Matcha with Pat
Matchanese
More Matcha
Rai Matcha
The Sweet Whisk
Too Much Matcha
Twenty Four Bakeshop
You can swing by later in the day, and it will casually turn into a mini gig, with live sets from Gone, JB Bolanos, and Beywolf from 4 to 7 p.m. And because no event is real unless it lives online, Tara Photobooth will be on standby to document your matcha-fueled decisions.
Souk Matcha Fest: Eastwood Central Plaza, April 23 to 26
There will be more matcha brands coming in during the second Matcha Fest at Eastwood Center Plaza—which isn't to say you should only go to the Eastwood leg, because you can always go to both, because, again, entrance is free.
Here are the merchants at Souk Matcha Fest at Eastwood:
Butterboy
Genki Matcha By Lubay
Match More
Matcha Bar by The Coffee Series
Matcha With Pat
More Matcha
One Cup Matcha
Sari Matcha
Sip Happens
Treaty Whisk
Whisk a Sip
Whisk and Seek
Whisked Matcha Bar
Zenji Matcha
Aside from all the matcha to consume, there will be other local brands during the festival you can check out while sipping your lattes. Expect a lineup of local brands to browse between sips—from apparel by Gallery Vetements and B.E.C. Clothing, to charming little anik-anik finds from Art Patch. And if you want your photos taken but lack additional phone storage, Candied Fotos has you covered.
