4. BE A FOOL FOR LOVE WITH CINE CON EUROPA'S AMOR IDIOTA
Cine Con Europa presents the R-18 Amor Idiota (Idiot Love) on April 10, 6 p.m. at the Instituto Cervantes. In Amor Idiota, an eccentric man claims to be in love with a young woman after banging his head against a ladder she put up. He sets out to win her affections– even though she's married. Admission is free on a first come, first served basis.

5. KICK IT UP A NOTCH AND WATCH THE FIFA WORLD CUP FINALS LIVE
Show off your soccer skills in the Soccer Fiesta at SM Malls on April 10 and 11, 17 and 18, and May 1 and 2. Join the Skills Challenge Competition for a chance to win an all-expense-paid trip to South Africa to watch the 2010 World Cup Finals live in June.
6. REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES WITH APO HIKING SOCIETY
The APO Hiking Society, now 40 and retiring this year, performs a repertoire of OPM hits on April 10, 8 p.m. at the Marriott Hotel Grand Ballroom. For P4,000 nett, pair this distinctly Pinoy experience with a Filipino buffet, inclusive of two drinks. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. For tickets, click here.

7. COZY UP WITH KENNETH COBONPUE
Internationally acclaimed furniture designer Kenneth Cobonpue kicks off Ayala Museum's DesignTalks on April 7, 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Learn his works and thinking process, and visit an exhibit of his selected designs. The lecture is free with museum admission.
8. CHAT WITH CHIC LIT WRITERS
Award-winning and best-selling Pinay writers Noelle de Jesus Chua, Tara FT Sering and Maya O. Calica launch their Asian Chic Books on April 8, 5:30 p.m. at the National Bookstore in Shangri-la Plaza Mall. Get copies of Mrs MisMarriage, Amazing Grace and Undercover Tai Tai, first released in Singapore and Malaysia on November 2008.
9. UNCOVER THE UNNAMABLE
About 30 artists peel back layers of poetry, formal structures and grand narratives in an attempt to reveal the starkest of truths in The Unnamable. Inspired by Samuel Beckett's dark trilogy of the same title, the exhibit runs until April 18 at the Manila Contemporary.
10. RELIVE THE DAYS OF A FABLED GALLERY
Cargo and Decoy by pioneering Filipino conceptual artist Roberto Chabet was first installed over 20 years ago at the fabled Pinaglabanan Galleries that closed down in 1989. Made from Chabet's signature material, store-bought plywood boards, the exhibit takes inspiration from the cargo cults of long ago, the obsessive focus on material goods brought by the foreigners. The exhibit runs until April 18 at MO_Space.
