Catch a screening of Pinoy classic T-Bird at Ako in UP Diliman
Mark your calendars for February 25.
(SPOT.ph) Decades before the local LGBT films we know and love today, there was Danny Zialcita’s T-Bird at Ako. Its significance as a lesbian-themed film is only strengthened by its powerhouse cast including Nora Aunor and Vilma Santos.
A landmark film that features an iconic cast and tackles LGBT and identity issues way ahead of its time deserves your viewing (or a rewatch). Luckily enough, T-Bird at Ako will be screened at the UPFI Film Center in UP Diliman on February 25. The screening is open to the public, just make sure to be there by 7 p.m. Tickets are at P150, and will be sold on the day itself at the venue.
The 1982 film has been digitally restored and remastered by ABS-CBN Archives and Central Digital Lab.
