The open-air screening will be at BGC for the Great British Festival

(SPOT.ph) Love football? Catch a free outdoor screening of the documentary Little Azkals: Pursuit of a World Cup Dream on March 1 at 12 p.m. The screening is part of the Great British Festival lineup and will be at the open-air cinema in Bonifacio High Street.

Little Azkals tells the story of 22 boys who were selected by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) from over 1,000 aspiring players to be part of the Little Azkals Under 11 team. The kids were sent to the United Kingdom for a month-long training at Loughborough University, where they endured homesickness, intense training, cold weather, and the challenge of competing with more seasoned players.

The documentary is directed by Babyruth Villarama, and seats will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
