These Indie Acts Are Coming Together for a Benefit Gig

Proceeds will go to the Taal local government.

(SPOT.ph) The ongoing Taal eruption has made you witness to several sad sights—folks still working despite the ashfall, animals being left behind, and people scrambling to find an N95 mask. Another thing it did give rise to is people's desire to help, and you've seen it in the form of farmers donating rice and people offering free masks. Acts of kindness are always appreciated, and if you're still looking for a way to help, we have good news for you: Project Phoenix, a benefit gig happening at 12 Monkeys Music Hall & Pub on January 23, is treating you to a night of local jams, and a way for you to help Taal victims.

This is the second show in a series of gigs for the benefit of those affected in Taal. While most gigs ask you to pay for a ticket, you can watch performances from Over October, St. Wolf, Lions & Acrobats, Tamara, LaLuna, Sabu, and Caren Tavanny for P350 worth of monetary or in-kind donations. All proceeds from the gig will go to the Taal local government.
