The country’s most fabulous fashionistas got together for a second night-this time decked in the far-out styles of ’70s disco. This year’s Preview Best Dressed Ball held last Friday, July 8, at Seventh High, Taguig City, relived the glory days of Coco Banana, the grooviest upscale club of that decade.

Stars, socialites, and stylistas alike stayed true to the disco theme in fashions that featured bell-bottoms, metallics, jumpsuits, and psychedelic patterns. Present were "it" girls Anne Curtis and Angel Locsin (both in eye-catching red), Georgina WilsonKC Concepcion, Divine Lee, Megan Young, and cosplaying duo Alodia and Ashley Gosiengfiao. Isabelle Daza was literally the belle of the ball when her hippie-esque feather-and-flower frock landed her night’s Best Dressed award. Surprise guest Andi Eigenmann looked radiant in a glittery champagne number, while comedian Vice Ganda went all out in a retro-Cher getup.

From the fashion world were Kate Torralba, Mich Dulce, Ruby Gan, and Michelline Syjuco with Preview bigwigs editor-in-chief Pauline Juan, fashion editor Daryl Chang, contributing fashion editor Liz Uy, and the rest of the magazine team. The night highlighted, who else, but Preview’s Top 10 Best Dressed Women for 2011: actresses Iza Calzado and Mylene Dizon; Liz’s litter sis Laureen Uy; designers Camille Co and Charina Sarte; model Pauline Prieto, Havaianas’ Anne Gonzales; fashion retailer Keri Zamora; jeweler Lucille Dizon, and Apple & Eve creative director Penny Ngu.
