We Asked These Celebs What They Would Say to Their Younger Selves
We caught up with some fashion-forward stars at Preview's Anniversary Party.
(SPOT.ph) Well, it seems like no matter how famous you are, you'd still wish you could talk to your younger self to share a little piece of advice. After all, who doesn't need a bit of wisdom from time to time? To celebrate Preview magazine’s 22nd Anniversary Party theme, Wear Your Statement, we asked the most fashion-forward stars what statement they would tell their 22-year-old self.
Arci Muñoz, actress
"Keep it up. I’m very experimental when it comes to my style and I always want to play around. It’s really fun for me to experiment. So I’ll tell my 22-year-old self to keep on experimenting.”
Tommy Esguerra, actor
“Be happy. Make the most out of the moments and respect your relationships. At the end of the day, money, fame, and success are nothing. The relationships are what last forever.”
Sarah Lahbati, actress
"Travel even more. Now that I’m so busy with work, I miss traveling. I can’t squeeze that in so I always tell people that if you have the opportunity to travel, do it because you’re going to miss so much.”
Mond Gutierrez, TV host
"Hang in there. At 22, I was really pressuring myself to have a career, have everything sorted out, have everything figured out, and as a 22-year-old, that pressure can be daunting and especially since I was entering show business at that time. So now I want to tell my younger self to hang in there, do what you’re passionate about, and everything will fall into place.”
"Choose love. It’s always something I tell
“Calm down and enjoy. You’re 22 and there’s so much time ahead of you. Relax and enjoy London. And stop doing internships!”
"The quarter-life crisis will pass. Life is going to happen no matter what you do and things are going to fall into place so don’t worry. You’re going to figure yourself out.”
