10 Cinemas in Manila Where You Can Watch Lav Diaz's Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis
Are you ready to take on the eight-hour film?
(SPOT.ph) Director Lav Diaz's award-winning historical epic, Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis, is coming home, and movie fans are gearing up to take on what's been dubbed the "Hele Challenge." The film is set for a March 26 release date across the Philippines.
Hele revolves around the harrowing 30-day search to find Andres Bonifacio's body in the mountains. Despite being sick, hungry, and nearly driven to madness, his widow Gregoria de Jesus vows to learn the truth behind her husband’s death. The ensemble cast includes John Lloyd Cruz, Piolo Pascual, Cherie Gil, Alessandra de Rossi, and more.
If you're worried about sitting for eight hours straight, cinemas will be dividing the film into three parts. The venues will also be deciding the duration of each break. Here are 10 cinemas in Manila that will be screening the movie.
