(SPOT.ph) First of all, don't let its name fool you. SM Director's Club Cinema isn't just meant for filmmakers. Instead, think of it as a more intimate and relaxing way to catch new films in the cinema—that is, without the crowded movie houses or lengthy lines at the snack bar.
The interiors
The recliners
Each Director's Club Cinema theater houses about 40 to 50 seats, with a screen size as massive as a regular theater. (Say goodbye to cramped leg spaces and heads blocking your view of the screen!) In place of regular seats, the theater features soft leather recliners that come with a leg rest so moviegoers can sit back and relax.
The spacious waiting area
Upon settling down, audiences will be served complimentary (and freshly popped) popcorn, but if that's not enough for your appetite, you can select from a special Director's Club menu. Each recliner even comes with a button that summons friendly service staff to deliver your food order to your seat.
One of the Director's Club Cinemas at S Maison
SM Cinema is also slated to open the first hotel-based cinema in the Metro located at S Maison in Conrad Manila, a newly opened luxury hotel and upscale shopping complex near Manila Bay.
The plush seating
The waiting area
