WATCH: This heartbreaking indie film deals with a relationship that never was
This 2015 film is finally getting a theatrical release!
(SPOT.ph) Hugot comes in many forms, whether it's the heartbreak over a breakup or dealing with the pains of a "relationship" that never quite happened. This 2015 Filipino indie film puts the spotlight on the latter.
Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa revolves around the complicated relationship of a young filmmaker named Sam (Nicco Manalo) and an aspiring writer named Isa (Emmanuelle Vera). Not only are they uncomfortable with their little situation; they also face a bigger dilemma when they must separate for the sake of their careers.
Helmed by first-time director Nestor Abrogena, the film was originally an entry in the 2015 World Premieres Film Festival. Mainstream audiences can finally catch the movie in theaters very soon, but a final release date has yet to be announced.
In the next few months, the film is also getting its own DVD release and eventually, will be available for streaming online. If you're lucky, you can also catch a screening at Cinema '76 in San Juan City for only P100.
