LOOK: Mikee Cojuangco and Donna Cruz Have a DoReMi Mini-Reunion
All that's missing is Regine Velasquez and a couple of mics!
(SPOT.ph) There's nothing we love more than a good throwback and Donna Cruz and Mikee Cojuangco are here to deliver. You might recall that the two were co-stars in DoReMi, a movie-musical released in 1996, along with Regine Velasquez.
The comedy revolves around Donnette (played by Donna), Reggie (played by Regine), and Mikki (played by Mikee). And yes, the significance of the names aren't lost on us. The three form a girl group called (you guessed it) Do Re Mi, and they dream to perform and make a career in Japan. But then they realize they were duped with falsified passports and documents and they went on a self-exile to a province. To pay for their expenses, they perform in a mini-bar and eventually draw in a big crowd.
Two of the stars, Donna and Mikee, recently met up and posed by the movie's poster. Donna took to Instagram to share the photos, expressing her excitement that she got to meet up with Mikee but also that she's missing Regine. "Patulong naman po mag-photoshop kay Reg sa mga pictures na ito o'! 'Di kaya ng powers ko!" she jokes. Here's to hoping they'll all be together soon (or that they'll make a sequel).
