(SPOT.ph) There are only a couple of months until the highly anticipated sequel to Heneral Luna, Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral, hits theaters on September 5. But the people behind the movie have already gotten fans pretty excited with teasers, behind-the-scenes videos, and their official soundtrack featuring indie folk band Ben&Ben. To add to the excitement for the period drama, they're now taking you on a tour around the places where the film was shot with #GOYO which stands for Go On Your Own.
Stand-up comedian Victor Anastacio acts as host of the quick but informative four-minute video, where he takes viewers around the Taal Heritage Town in Batangas. With over 180 ancestral houses, the well-preserved town is the perfect place for a period piece like Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral. The video explores Spanish-era churches like the Taal Basilica, which is the biggest Catholic church in all of Asia. The video also features Taal's famous local delicacy called panutsa a.k.a. peanut brittle. The virtual tour is sure to get you looking forward to seeing everything that took place in the small town when Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral finally hits the big screen.
