You Can Now Set Your Favorite Spotify Songs as Your Alarm in the Morning
It's finally time to be a morning person.
(SPOT.ph) You’re probably already used to hitting snooze in the morning when you hear the same loud buzzing every day. But now you can finally wake up on the right side of the bed because Spotify lets you set your fave song as your alarm when you use Google's Clock app.
All you have to do is open the Google's Clock app and connect it to your Spotify account. When you go to the “Alarms” tab, you’ll find suggestions you can choose from and you can pick any song, album, playlist, or artist to wake up to—and they've got over 35 million tracks to choose from! Spotify users with free accounts can also use the feature in shuffle mode.
But the good vibes don't end when you wake up. When you stop the alarm, you can choose to continue playing and listening to the songs. Spotify also picks out curated tracks based on your recently played music and recommend them to you. They've set up playlists like I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning, Songs to Sing in the Shower, and Have a Great Day. That’s good news if you’re the type to waste precious minutes in the morning—that could be used for getting ready—looking for just the right song before hitting the shower.
The feature will be available for Android users within the next few days. Just make sure you have the Clock app from Google. It comes pre-installed in some devices, but it can also be downloaded from the Google Play Store for all Android mobile users.
