This award-winning Taiwanese film follows three people who are all linked by love and family. After a young boy named Chengxi tragically loses his father, he finds himself caught in a bitter feud between his widowed mother and his father’s gay lover.

Green Book

Release date: February 6
Set in the Deep South during the early '60s, Green Book revolves around a talented African-American pianist (Mahershala Ali), who is about to embark on a concert tour and recruits Tony (Viggo Mortensen) as his driver and bodyguard. Despite their initial differences, the two form an unexpected bond as they confront racism and segregation. 

Alone/Together

Release date: February 13
Director Antoinette Jadaone has been earning plenty of buzz after the first trailer of her new romance drama hit the Internet. Touted as Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil’s most mature roles to date, Alone/Together centers on two college sweethearts who meet again eight years after breaking up.

The LEGO Movie 2

Another wacky and imaginative adventure awaits in this highly anticipated sequel to the 2014 runaway hit. Emmet (Chris Pratt), Lucy (Elizabeth Banks), and Batman (Will Arnett) face a new threat when LEGO space invaders destroy their beloved city. Happy Death Day 2U

If watching slasher flicks is your idea of a good time, the sequel to 2017’s surprise hit Happy Death Day should be right up your alley. Set two years after the events of the first film, a young woman (Jessica Rothe) finds herself reliving the same day of her death over and over again, only this time, her friends are now targets, too.

In this action-thriller, Liam Neeson plays a snowplow driver whose quiet life is shattered when his son mysteriously passes away. His quest to uncover the reasons behind his son’s death entangles him in a turf war between a drug lord and a rival boss.

The Favourite

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos and set during the 18th century, the story explores the relationship between two cousins who are vying for the favor of an ailing Queen Anne. The Favourite is nominated for a staggering ten Oscars this year, including Best Picture, and stars Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz, and Nicholas Hoult.

How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

Release date: February 20
The third installment of the hit animated franchise picks up where the second film left off, as Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) continues his quest to rescue dragons. Unfortunately, his efforts have caused his beloved island hometown to be severely overpopulated with dragons, and he must now find the “Hidden World,” a mysterious safe haven for dragons.
