(SPOT.ph) It’s officially summer, and while the rising temperature is enough to keep most of us indoors, a roster of upcoming blockbusters is a pretty good reason to brave the heat. But if you want to stay home, Netflix has plenty of exciting new movies in store for you, too. This April, keep your eyes peeled for a Stephen King adaptation, several fun iterations of Noah Centineo, and the thrilling conclusion to the Avengers.

Here are the movies to watch this April:

Stranded

Release date: April 10
Two strangers being put in a ridiculous situation is practically a rom-com staple. In the case of this Filipino film, the paths of two characters (played by Jessy Mendiola and Arjo Atayde) cross during, what else, a severe typhoon. The film is helmed by Ice Idanan, who first made waves with the wanderlust-inducing indie flick, Sakaling Hindi Makarating.

Hellboy

Release date: April 10
Now the third live-action film based on the Dark Horse Comics character, this new and R-rated reboot features Stranger Things star David Harbour in the titular role. Not much is known of the plot just yet, but multiple reports have said that this version is a “darker” and “grittier” take on the character, exploring complex themes that supposedly warrant its adult rating.
