(SPOT.ph) It's been years since you last saw your ex and everything is going well... until, that is, you bump into them when you least expect it. There's nothing more awkward, but maybe it's finally time to strike up a conversation and give being friends a shot. Don't believe it's possible? Tayo Sa Huling Buwan Ng Taon says otherwise, and you can catch it this month. The film, which is the sequel to Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa, is screening at the Anonas and San Juan branches of Cinema '76 from September 7 to 12.
Tayo Sa Huling Buwan Ng Taon, directed by Nestor Abrogena, follows the story of a writer named Isa (Emmanuelle Vera) and a filmmaker named Sam (Nicco Manalo). Exes-turned-friends Isa and Sam reunite five years after their break-up and catch up on each other's lives. In between conversations on put-off dreams and new relationships, they realize how much they miss each other, and learn that the feelings never fully faded. The film also features "Huling Sandali" by local band December Avenue.
Tickets are priced at P180 per screening, while students can avail of the discounted price of P150 per screening from Mondays to Thursdays. You can catch it at the Anonas and San Juan branches at these dates and times:
